Senior Software Engineer for Mesh technology

Mission

You will be in charge of designing, developing, implementing, testing and maintaining embedded software modules for mesh wireless broadband products. You will work closely with other R&D teams. You have good communication skills, a team spirit and a capacity to work in a challenging high tech environment.

Requirements

  Engineering Diploma
  3 to 7 years experience in an industrial environment and the development of embedded software systems

  Expertise in Linux as a development system
  Expertise in C and C + +
  Expertise in the development of Linux kernel modules

  Expertise in network layer 2 (Ethernet and 802.11) and Layer 3 IP routing
  Good skills, more "high level", in the integration of embedded software and Net-SNMP
  Knowledge of Man / Machine interfaces Qt4 / C + + is a plus
  Experience in quality software development
  Good level of English

Location

The position is based near Paris - France (Issy-les-Moulineaux).

Systems Engineer France / Ingénieur Avant-vente France

Mission

As part of our sales team, you will be responsible for all technical aspects of the sales process. You will work closely with our Sales Director to provide high-quality service to Luceor partners, customers and end-users. Upon request you will also cover other countries and work with Sales Managers of those countries.

Products Involved The complete Luceor Offering (WAN and LAN products and services)

Main Responsibilties

Assisting the sales team in the pre-sales and sales activity on the technical/technology side Customer presentation and activities Responding to Bids and Tenders Statement of compliance to customer requirements Project management

Supporting the partners and distributors on the technical/technology side Phone and email support On site support where needed (site survey, debugging etc.) Technology training Engineering, deployment and after sales assistance to customers and partners

Your Profile

Autonomous but with a strong team spirit, well organized, and results-oriented. You have experience with deployment of indoor wireless, outdoor wireless or terrestrial microwave systems (point to point and point to multipoint). Experience with routers, switches and other networking devices (e.g. VoIP, Bandwidth Management, LAN Analysers, Radius Server etc.) is also desired. You have a university degree in a technology field and have 3-5+ years of experience ideally in wireless networking pre-sales activity. You have a good communication, presentation and technical sales skills. You are dynamic and motivated to participate in a stimulating project. You are fluent in French and English (other languages would be a key advantage) and are available for traveling. Experience in designing and deploying Wireless Networks in Telecom or Video Surveillance and Public Safety is key advantage.
