Since its creation in May 2005, LUCEOR raised large interest, gained recognition, obtained funding, won many key trensetters contracts, accessed advanced WiFi chipset technology, patented a routing optimization algorithm and built experienced management and advisory Board.
LUCEOR is a winner of the 2005 national contest «Concours National d’Aide à la Création d’Entreprises de Technologie Innovantes» organised by the Ministry of Research with the support of OSEO-ANVAR and obtained the highest grant ($530K).
LUCEOR is also a winner in 2005 of “Tremplin Recherche” and “Tremplin Entreprises” organized both by the French Senate as well as a winner of “Scientipôle Initiative.”
LUCEOR has been selected by a Ministry (MINEFI) working group on Strategic Technologies (Key Technologies 2010).
The DIACT Agency, linked directly to the French Prime Minister, agreed in March 2005 to finance a project providing broadband network access to rural and urban areas in Picardie using a mix of WiMax and WiFi-Mesh (LUCEOR) technologies.
The DIACT Agency agreed in December 2005 to finance a video surveillance project in social residences in le Mans with a mix of Mesh (LUCEOR) and power line communications.
Other projects are undertaken, for instance, with SIEMENS Tansportation Systems, TELECOM Paris and Orsay related to fast mobility, with OpenWide to integrate LUCEOR Mesh inside their Video Surveillance Intelligent system, with THALES to co-develop a public Safety solution.
